Polynucleotide Skin Boosters

As part of my practice, I provide three exceptional Polynucleotides treatments; Profhilo, Lumi Eyes and Skin Boosters.

As skin matures, it often presents challenges such as diminished elasticity and the emergence of fine lines.

Polynucleotide treatments improve the skin quality on a cellular level and can be used to hydrate the skin, treat dark under-eye circles,

treat fine lines around the eyes and lips, rejuvenate scars or improve overall texture to give skin a healthy glow.

They also have anti inflammatory properties so are great for acne scarring and some inflamed skin concerns.

 

Traditional methods, while providing temporary relief, may not deliver comprehensive rejuvenation. Polynucleotide treatments

Polynucleotides are the 'Gold Standard' for:

Boosting collagen production and elastin for an overall rejuvenation of the under eyes, face and neck enhancing

skin hydration, circulation and overall skin quality.

Your Polynucleotides treatment will include consultation and assessment.
You will have an initial consultation with me, I will take the time to understand your concerns, expectations, and desired outcome,

and advise if Polynucleotides treatment is most suitable for you and do an assessment of the area that you would like treated.

You can have your first polynucleotide treatment on the day of your initial consultation or you can book a treatment for a time of your convenience. Depending on your needs you will require 2-3 Polynucleotide Treatments each 2-4 weeks apart.

Polynucleotide injections
Needle or cannula can be used to carefully inject the Polynucleotides solution into the under eye area, cheeks, around mouth or neck.

The injections are strategically placed to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, or dark circles / hollows under eyes.

 

Post-Treatment Care and Recovery

Recovery from polynucleotide treatment with needle may take several days to recover from due to the presence of blebs from

treatment and possibility for bruising. Cannula treatment has little or no downtime.

Follow-Up and Results

Your treatment will be performed every 2-4 weeks (normally 3 treatments in total). We then advise a top-up single treatment

every 6-12 months to sustain your result.

 

Profhilo

​

The first of its kind, Profhilo is a revolutionary 'beneath the skin' hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment that has

a significant tightening / lifting effect on the tissue.

It is a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells.

When injected into skin, Profhilo stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.

One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo not only boosts and hydrates the skin,

but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue.

The most common areas of treatment include the face, neck, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area and the treatment

is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.

How does it work? 

Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated and this stimulates collagen and elastin,

attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin. As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that

of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release

of hyaluronic acid resulting in significant tissue improvement. Profhilo has a significant tightening/lifting effect on the tissue.

Lumi Eyes

Lumi Eyes is a high-quality injection product based on Polynucleotides that repairs damage to the dermis with tissue regenerating material. The treatment removes dark circles under the eyes, moisturises and fights fine wrinkles, as well as smoothing and lifting the skin

under the eyes. As a tissue booster, it has a proven rejuvenating effect. Stimulation of the skin cells, collagen and elastin allows to

delay the ageing processes and strengthens the skin. It improves the firmness, density and quality of the skin in an extremely natural way. Lumi Eyes stimulates the skin to self-regenerate. Thanks to the absorption speed there is no downtime with this treatment,

you can return to your normal daily life straight after the treatment.

Lumi Eyes allows you to achieve a perfect effect after just one treatment. For better results, it is recommended to perform a

series of 3 treatments with an interval of 4 weeks and repeat the treatment twice a year. The skin will gain energy and freshness,

while reducing bruising and fatigue.

Method 
Lumi Eyes is administered via a series of small injections. The treatment takes up to 30 minutes.

15/20 minutes to numb and a further 10 minutes for the actual treatment.

Downtime 
There is no downtime with this treatment, you can return to your normal daily life straight after the treatment. For best results, it is recommended to perform a series of 3 treatments with an interval of 4 weeks for optimal results. This can be repeated twice a year.

 

Skin boosters

Skin boosters are injectables that improve skin texture, elasticity, hydration and overall appearance. The treatment involves

injecting hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a soft, gel-like substance under the skin. This improves the skin’s elasticity, firmness

and radiance giving an overall skin quality and youthful glow.

Do Skin Boosters work?
Yes, they work brilliantly to target dryness, roughness and fine lines and improve skin tone and texture.

However, for best results two sessions per year for maintenance to ensure maximum results and hydration.

What is the difference between Skin Boosters and Dermal Fillers?

The main difference between Skin Boosters and Dermal Fillers is lift and longevity. Skin Boosters add hydration,

glow and restore elastin while Dermal Fillers add volume and soften lines to restore a more youthful appearance.
 
Both treatments use key ingredient of hyaluronic acid and are injected under the skin using a needle.
Dermal fillers can last anywhere from 9 to 18 months while Skin boosters will last up to 6 months and will need more regular maintenance.
